identified some common themes in best pharma companies. These are:
* No corporations or companies were found who are truly World Class, there are only excellent individual operating plants within a corporation.
* Plants cannot achieve high performance by themselves, external support and senior management drive are required.
* Even among the best plants there is still ongoing opportunity for improvement.
* Employee involvement and continuous improvement are necessary.</description>
